Who We Are

The Denbigh House is a Clubhouse model day program for individuals with brain injury residing on the Virginia Peninsula and surrounding communities.

Clubhouse programs emphasize the power and value of meaningful work.  Clubhouse members work side by side with staff to run all aspects of the program to regain work skills and behaviors necessary to return to work and become more independent.  Clubhouses offer individuals a place to belong, a social network, and an opportunity to break the social isolation that can follow a brain injury.

The Denbigh House has three work units. The work units include:

  • Communications Unit
  • Advocacy and Outreach Unit
  • Kitchen and Maintenance Unit
