In-Home Respite Care

Catholic Charities of Eastern Virginia, Inc. (CCEVA) provides a trained respite worker who will stay in the home with your loved one, providing companionship and ensuring their safety. In-Home Respite Care provides the caregiver with an opportunity to run errands, visit the doctor or relax knowing that your loved one is being well cared for while you are away. Catholic Charities of Eastern Virginia will perform a free in-home assessment and will match a trained, background-checked respite worker with the individual in need of care. Care receivers must be 60 years of age or older to receive services.

Respite services DO NOT include bathing, personal care, housekeeping or transportation.
