Who We Are

The Blacksburg Community Center offers leisure services for all citizens of the town of Blacksburg and the surrounding area:

  • Sports including basketball, volleyball, badminton, ping pong, and soccer;
  • Fitness includes a fitness center, aerobic classes, yoga, Jazzercise;
  • Social Activities including dances, dance classes, senior programs, senior breakfast, and AARP events;
  • Special Events include the Home Show, tournaments, Breakfast with Santa;
  • Educational classes cover topics such as computer use,  dance, writing, safety, sports, art, music, etc.,
  • Rental facilities include a gym, and multipurpose rooms for events such as receptions, parties, lock-ins, and meetings.

Hours may vary. Facilities are normally open Monday thru Friday from 6:00 AM until 10:00 PM, and Sundays from 12:00 PM Noon until 6:00 PM.
