Who We Are

Housing Information and Services provides advice and referrals to residents who have questions about housing issues.

Counselors are available to provide objective advice, information and referrals to both tenants and landlords in Arlington County with specific questions or problems that they'd like to address.  They have informational materials available on a number of different topics as well as an apartment guide listing most of the apartment complexes in Arlington County.

They also provide information about their homeownership programs, special events and classes for first time buyers. The County assists low and moderate income buyers through a low interest mortgage, downpayment assistance and the sale of properties at affordable prices.

Apartment complexes throughout Arlington have units set aside for low and moderate income households. There are also rent assistance programs, especially for the elderly or disabled.
