Long Term Care Problem Assistance

Central Virginia Area Agency on Aging offers an Ombudsman program.  The Ombudsman acts as a resource for information and counseling for citizens regarding institutional and community based long-term care options.

Ombudsman also protects and represents the rights of persons in Nursing Homes, Assisted Living facilities and Adult Care Residents or those individuals receiving long-term care in their home.

The Long Term Care Ombudsmans serves as an advocate in resolving complaints and concerns regarding long term care services. The Ombudsman may also provide educational information to you on Elder Abuse Prevention, Resident's Right's, and other long term related topics.
