Carpenter's Project, Project Crossroads

Mount Vernon United Methodist Church offers The Carpenter's Project in the Project Crossroads ministry.  This mission helps local people with needed home repairs.  Most are referred by the Danville Community Development office because they are unable to make the repairs, yet their income level causes them to "fall between the cracks" for getting any other kind of work.



Project Crossroads is a ministry where youth and adults travel to Appalachia to make repairs for low income families in that rural area.  The once a year trip is in the summer.
