Who We Are
Richmond and Westmoreland Counties Habitat For Humanity is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a Christian ministry working throughout the world to provide housing for needy and deserving people. Houses are built using a combination of donated and purchased materials and labor.
Habitat builds and rehabilitates simple, decent houses with the help of the homeowner (partner) families. Habitat houses are sold to partner families at no profit and financed with affordable loans. The homeowners' monthly mortgage payments are used to build more Habitat houses.
