Emergency Shelter

Women's Resource Center offers emergency residential shelter for domestic violence victims for 26 women and children. Crisis intervention counselors and trained volunteers supervise the shelter 24 hours a day.



Families who leave the emergency shelter and desire a supportive living environment have the option of applying for transitional housing apartments before stepping out on their own.  The transitional housing unit can house 8 families in 8 apartments.



Additional services available are emergency cell phones, emergency advocacy, outreach in schools, childcare during meetings, in-shelter school, sexual assault intervention and transitional housing.
