Brain Bites: What is Dementia will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2024, from 1 pm until 2 pm.
AARP Virginia along with the Alzheimer's Association of Southeastern Virginia Chapter, presents Brain Bites which focuses on Alzheimer’s awareness and brain health.
Join us for this session. Alzheimer’s disease is not a normal part of aging. It’s a progressive and fatal brain disease and is the most common form of dementia. This program is for anyone who would like to know more about dementia, how Alzheimer’s affects the brain, detection, causes and risk factors, stages of the disease, treatment, and much more.
