Memory Care

Christian Assisted Living of Johnson City offers a safe and nurturing environment for residents who suffer from dementia or Alzheimer's.  There is a spacious outdoor garden area that is completely secure so residents can enjoy nature.  Staff provides activities that offer residents a sense of satisfaction and are designed to stimulate the resident's cognitive ability while allowing them to have fun and socialize with their peers.   Peer support is also used to assist in the initial adjustment of the memory-impaired resident.

Workshops and continuing education, realistic training for staff on how to respond and assist residents with memory issues, as well as orientation and training programs for friends and family are offered.

The capacity for assisted living and memory care is 79 beds.
