Volunteer Services, Abused & Neglected Children

Colonial CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) is a volunteer-based organization advocating for abused and neglected children. CASA advocates receive training and professional staff supervision to learn how to give a voice to these children in the juvenile and Domestic Relations court system. Appointed directly by the juvenile and Domestic Relations Court judge, these advocates investigate the child's case and report directly to the judge, providing him/her with the valuable and factual information necessary to determine what is in the child's interest.
