Advocacy, Services and Support

Parkinson Foundation of the National Capital Area serves serves the metro Washington DC area by providing information, services and support for people with Parkinson's disease, strives to raise awareness about the disease and the search for a cure and supports research into the cause and cure for Parkinson's disease.

The agency maintains support groups throughout the area as well as therapeutic exercise programs. A quarterly newsletter, Parkinson Update, is published featuring new treatments, and relevant articles and research updates.

Educational publications are offered for free.
