Pound Town Hall is a congregate nutrition site serving a nutritious, hot, noontime meal. Each site offers a variety of activities, exercise, health education, health screenings, music and storytelling, quilting and crafts. Current events and other topics of interest to older citizens are an important part of the program. These sites operate as part of Mountain Empire Older Citizen's (MEOC) Wellness Is Now (WIN) initiative. Most WIN Centers also provide community group respite service during regular hours of operation.
This site is open Tuesdays from 9:30AM-1:30PM at the Pound Town Hall.
