Who We Are

The opportunities for volunteer service are almost limitless and Volunteer Prince William assists you in finding meaningful, satisfying volunteer roles.   By providing the most current information about community's needs, the Center will assist you in making your personal connection to the not-for-profit and human service agencies that provide services to the greater Prince William area.

Retired & Senior Volunteer Program, Youth program, disaster services, Christmas in July, UnTrim a Tree are all agencies that need volunteers.

Adult Court Ordered Community Service: The Alternative Service Program places nonviolent offenders in public or private not-for-profit agencies to work off fines and costs or mandatory community service hours ordered by the courts. The program serves Prince William General District and Circuit Courts and the Office of Criminal Justice Services, Virginia Office of Probation and Parole, U.S. District Court and other courts for Prince William County residents. This program fills a need in the Prince William area by providing an alternative for those offenders who cannot afford to pay fines and costs or have a suspended jail sentence. Clients are interviewed and placed according to their time availability and location. For more information, contact the Alternative Service Program Coordinator at 703-369-5292, Ext. 316.

Bus Line: OmniLink. Partially accessible to persons with disabilities.
