Who We Are

The mission of the Arlington County Commission on Aging is to ensure and enhance the quality of life for older persons residing in Arlington County receive the optimum level of services and resources they need.



The Commission follows issues of interest to the elderly through established working committees:

  • Budget
  • Employment
  • Housing
  • Legislation
  • Long-term Care
  • Senior Centers
  • and Training

Maintains contact with other groups interested in senior issues.   For more information, check the website.

The Commission meets from 9-11 am as follows:

  • January-February: 4th Monday
  • March-December: 3rd Monday
  • August: No meeting
